different from those previously obtained for the hexosomes and the cubo-
somes (Barauskas et al., 2005; Gustafsson et al., 1996; Larsson, 2000). No long-
range order was observed. The outer shape of the dispersed droplets was
similar to that found for the conventional O/W or W/O emulsion system.
However, the FFTs of the EME droplets indicated the presence of an internal
arrangement within the particles.
