In SQL Server Data Tools, in the
Browser
tab of the Cube Editor, we can set
the previous connection string properties by clicking on the
Change User
button in the toolbar. This is the easiest way to test security.

Running the client tool (for example, Excel) as a different user, by using the
Run As
option on the right-click menu in Windows. Note that in different
versions of the Windows operating system, this option is activated in
different ways.
