(Table 11.3). The majority of FLC respondents were staying in commercial
accommodation (51.5%) followed by day-trippers (26.5%) and then VFRs.
The majority of non-FLC respondents were also staying in commercial ac-
commodation (62.9%) followed by VFRs (31.4%). Few non-FLC respondents
were day-trippers (5.7%).
Respondents were also asked how long they were staying in the region.
The means across each region were considered and examined based on being
FLC or non-FLC. The results are presented in Table 11.4.
In order to test for statistical significance, t -tests were performed at the
95% confidence level. These tests revealed no significant different between
FLC and non-FLC stages for Bendigo, Geelong or Yarra Valley. However,
