BAM Sensor action invokes the BAM Adapter APIs, which in
turn sends the data to the BAM Active Data Cache. So, it re-
uses the BAM Adapter configuration, such as the JNDI name
for the connection factory, batching properties, and so on.
In this chapter, we provide a sample SOA project called
SensorSample
that
showcases how to use the BPEL Sensor and Sensor Actions to populate data
changes to the BAM Data Object. Follow the instructions from the
README
file
to set up and run the project.
If the variable type is defined inline in the WSDL file, this vari-
able cannot be listed in the
Variable Xpath Builder
window,
which is used to add the variable to a variable sensor. Thus,
always assign a variable type to an Element or a Message,
explicitly, defined in a standalone XSD file.
If the layout of a Data Object changes, you need to restart the
BAM server to make the changes take effect at the UI side.
Otherwise, you will get a runtime error, which is
BAM-06008:
