The property values defined in the .jca file are case-sens-
itive. For example, /BookstoreDemo/Order_Status is a
valid value for the DataObjectName property, but if you
change the value to lower case, such as /BookstoreDemo/
order_status , the BAM operation will fail during runtime.
Do not modify this file manually, unless you are sure about the
values. It is always a best practice to reconfigure the Oracle
BAM Adapter, by going through the Oracle BAM Adapter con-
figuration wizard when there are any changes to the backend
Oracle BAM Data Object definition.
Sending data to BAM through the Oracle BAM Adapter
Once the external reference to the BAM Adapter is configured, sending data to
BAM through the BAM Adapter becomes straightforward.
First of all, you need to wire the SOA component (BPEL or mediator) to the ex-
ternal reference that you defined earlier.
