1.
Open the SOA sample application in JDeveloper.
2.
In the
Application Resources
pane, right click on
Connections
, then click
on
New Connection | BAM
to open the
BAM Connection Wizard
.

In the
BAM Connection Wizard Step 1 of 3
screen, select
Application Re-
sources
, and enter a name for the connection. Click on
Next
.

In the
BAM Connection Wizard Step 2 of 3
screen, enter the following de-
tails:
•
BAM Web Host:
Enter the hostname of the WebLogic Server (the Man-
aged Server for BAM) to which the BAM Web applications and report
server are deployed.
•
HTTP Port:
Enter the HTTP listen port of the Managed Server for BAM.
The default value is
9001
.
•
BAM Server Host:
Enter the name of the host to which the BAM Server
components (Active Data Cache, Report Cache, and Event Engine) are
deployed. In a single node environment, the hostname of the BAM Server
should be the same as the BAM Web.
•
JNDI Port:
Enter the RMI Port, which is used to connect to BAM Active
Data Cache on the BAM Server. By default, this port is the same as the
HTTP Port on the BAM Server.
•
User Name:
Enter the username, which is granted the BAM Administrat-
or role. You can use
weblogic
user.
•
Password:
Enter the password.
