The sample Data Objects used in this topic are located in the
BookstoreDemo
folder. If you have installed the samples successfully, you should be able to see
the folder in the
Folders
pane.
It is highly recommended to use subfolders to group related
Data Objects. The benefit of this best practice is that you can
import or export a group of Data Objects, together, by import-
ing or exporting the entire folder.
Data Object design considerations
Data Objects are the key building blocks of your BAM application. Like the
concept of XML schemas or database schemas, BAM Data Objects are the
schemas for BAM data models that define the structure of the data.
Before making a decision on the design of the Data Objects for your BAM ap-
plications, you should consider the following key points:

Should we define the Data Object as internal or external?
•
What fields should we add to the Data Object?
