Directory
Description
and the other is the domain home directory for the
Administration Server, which is represented by
the
<domain_name>
variable.
This directory and its sub-directories must be cre-
ated on a shared storage, which allows the Adminis-
tration Server to fail over to another node in the
cluster. The recommended mount point is
ORACLE_BASE/admin/<domain_name>/aserv-
er
.
This directory contains the domain information and
the applications for the Managed Servers. The
Ap-
plications
directory is the sub-directory that con-
tains application ear files. The
<domain_name>
sub-
directory is the home directory for the Managed
Servers.
mserver
This directory and its sub-directories are typically
created on a local storage.
<soa_cluster_name>
This variable represents a directory that is specific to
the SOA/BAM cluster configuration. This directory
and sub-directories must be created on a shared
storage and mounted to the local disk on
ORACLE_BASE/admin/<domain_name>/
