Performing
additional
configurations
and
testing
As you saw in the Cloning a Middleware home and the Cloning a WebLogic
Server domain for BAM sections, the cloning scripts copy the configurations
of the Middleware home and the WebLogic Server domain for BAM. However,
these scripts do not help to copy BAM specific configurations to a new environ-
ment. Therefore, you should perform additional configuration steps as follows:
1.
Configuring a security store or a policy store for BAM, if needed (optional).
2.
Setting up BAM properties using the EM console (optional).
You will learn about these BAM-specific configurations in detail in the next
chapter, along with other High Availability (HA) -related topics.
Now, the environment should be ready for testing. To verify the cloned environ-
ment, perform the following steps:
1.
Start the administration server and the managed server for BAM.
2.
Try to log in to the BAM start page, and access all the BAM web applications.
3.
If you can successfully access these applications, you can move on to the
next section to conduct the data migration tasks.
