Administrators: A group defined in either the WebLogic-embedded
LDAP server, or an external LDAP Server
BamAdministrators: A pre-configured group in the WebLogic-embedded
LDAP Server
OracleSystemUser: A BAM internal user defined in the WebLogic-em-
bedded LDAP Server
To become a member of this specific role, you can add a user or a group to either
the existing groups (Adminsitrators or BamAdministrators) defined in
the LDAP Server or the application role explicitly. Managing users and groups in
an LDAP Server is beyond the scope of this topic. In the following section, you
will learn how to add a user or group to an application role.
Adding a new user or group to an application role
Application roles are managed in the Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware
Control . To add a new user or group to an application role, perform the following
steps:
1.
Log in to the Enterprise Manager 11g Fusion Middleware Control. The URL
is http://<hostname>:<port>/em .
2.
Expand the BAM node in the farm for the SOA domain, and then click on
OracleBamServer .
3.
In the OracleBamServer pane, select BAM Server | Security | Application
Roles . The Application Roles page appears.
