The Colony, at 736 Ocean Dr, is the oldest deco hotel in Miami Beach, and has what
may be the most iconic facade on Ocean Dr. It was the first hotel in Miami to incor-
porate its sign (a neon wonder) as part of its overall design. Inside the lobby, a space-
age interior includes Saturn-shaped lamps and
Flash Gordon
elevators.
