Sweat's almost a stereotypical indie record store - there's funky art and graffiti on the
walls, it has big purple couches, it sells weird Japanese toys and there are skinny guys with
thick glasses arguing over LPs and EPs you've never heard of and, of course, there's cof-
fee and vegan snacks.

DANGERS & ANNOYANCES
There are a few areas considered by locals to be dangerous: Liberty City, in northwest
Miami; Overtown, from 14th St to 20th St; Little Haiti and stretches of the Miami river-
front. In these and other reputedly 'bad' areas you should avoid walking around alone late
at night - use common sense and travel in groups. If in doubt, it's best to take a taxi and to
know your address.
Deserted areas below 5th St in South Beach are more dangerous at night, but your main
concerns are aggressive drunks or the occasional strung-out druggie, rather than muggers.
In downtown Miami, use caution near the Greyhound station and around causeways,
bridges and overpasses where homeless people and some refugees have set up shanty
towns.
