Sat)
When Neo buys Morpheus a drink, they probably meet at this Conrad Miami spot (guess
which floor), where it's all long white lines, low black couches, pinstriped gorgeousity and
God's-eye views over Biscayne Bay.
Grand Central
CLUB
As enormous clubs go, Grand Central is good. Yes, the bouncers have way more attitude
here than other clubs, and yes, the cost of everything, from drinks to covers, borders on
criminal. But the promoters consistently book big DJs and musical acts, and when things
are hopping, the energy is undeniable.

11pm-5am Thu-Sat)
Upstairs from Grand Central, the Garret is the hipster half of the big club scene down-
stairs. Electro pop and synth-y sounds are pumped out on Friday nights, while Saturdays
feature indie dance nights and third Thursdays are devoted to a riotous Latin funk mix.
Vagabond
CLUB
The folks at Vagabond are still attractive, but they're funkier, definitely more local and the
music is more experimental than what you'll find on Miami Beach. The animal-print fur-
niture and flying, loopy lines and curves are made to be gawked at, which is possible as no
one keeps the Vagabond too dimly lit.
