Miami has a habit of sexing up the presentation of most ethnic cuisines, but we have to ad-
mit, we hadn't seen Greek done with glam till Egg & Dart. The effort is marvelous. Crafted
cocktails (try the orange mojito ) loosen up the palate for small plates like grilled halloumi
and zucchini croquettes, and big mains like lovingly grilled lamb and a delicious beet-and-
cheese stack.

We suppsoe there is a vegetarian option here - you could order a bread and cheese plate.
But this Wynwood joint is called the Butcher Shop for a reason, and that's because it's un-
ashamedly aimed at carnivores. From bone-in rib eyes to smoked sausages to full charcu-
terie, meat lovers have reason to rejoice. Beer lovers too; this butcher's doubles as a beer
garden.
The Embassy SPANISH

Embassy is a gastropub with Miami attitude, a Midtown veneer and an emphasis on Span-
ish tapas. Seared chicken with olive mashed potatoes and roasted snapper with fennel
make a strong showing, as do regular vegan platters. The Buena Vista setting projects un-
derstated hip, as does the clientele.
