Juvia
FUSION
night daily, to 1am Fri & Sat;

)
Juvia blends the trendsetters that have staying power in Miami's culinary world: namely,
France, Latin America and Japan. Chilean seabass comes cooked in soy butter, while sea
scallops are dressed with shiitakes and garlic chips. The big, bold, beautiful dining room,
which sits on the high floors of
1111 Lincoln Rd
,
is quintessential South Beach glam.

CHINESE FUSION

6pm-midnight)
Located in the
W Hotel
, Mr Chow takes Chinese American comfort food to gourmet
heights. The setting is almost intimidatingly cool, with dangling moderne-style chandeliers
and an enormous bar plucked out of
Sex and the City,
yet service is friendly and the food
lovely: velvet chicken served with diced chilies; stinky, spicy tofu; squid sautéed with as-
paragus.
Yuca
LATIN AMERICAN
This was one of the first Nuevo Latino hot spots in Miami and it's still going strong, even
if locals say it has lost a little luster over the years. The Yuca
rellena
(a mild chili stuffed
with truffle-laced mushroom
picadillo
) and the tender guava ribs still make our mouth wa-
ter.
