Coconut Grove was once a hippie colony, but these days its demographic is middle-class,
mall-going Miami and college students. It's a pleasant place, especially in the evenings,
bursting with shops and restaurants. 'The Grove' unfolds along S Bayshore Dr as it hugs
the shoreline; US Hwy 1 (S Dixie Hwy) acts as the northern boundary.
