Notes:
The production concentration index for a given product for grain, oil, cotton, sugar, vegetables and fruits in a province is
deined as the ratio of sown area of the product per capita for the rural population in the region divided by the national average for
the same ratio. The index for meat and ishery products in a province is deined as the ratio of the output of the product per capita
for the rural populaton n the regon dvded by the natonal average for the same rato. The average ndex for the land-ntensve
agrcultural products for a provnce s the weghted average of the ndces for the four products usng the dstrbuton of land among
the four products as the weghts; the average ndex for the labour-ntensve products for a provnce s the smple average. The
average ndex of ndvdual products and groups of land and labour-ntensve products are smple averages of the ndces of provnces
covered n the large regons.
