day pass $2/5) operates buses throughout the county. Fares and passes are sold on board
(cash only, exact change).
CAR & MOTORCYCLE
Disneyland Resort is just off I-5 (Santa Ana Fwy), about 30 miles southeast of Downtown
LA.
TRAIN
Trains stop at the newly opened Anaheim Regional Transit Intermodal Center (ARTIC;
GOOGLE MAP ) next to Angel Stadium, a quick ART shuttle or taxi ride east of Disneyland.
Amtrak ( GOOGLE MAP ; 714-385-1448; www.amtrak.com ; 2150 E Katella Ave) has almost a
dozen daily trains to/from LA's Union Station ($15, 40 minutes) and San Diego ($28, two
hours). Less frequent Metrolink ( GOOGLE MAP ; 800-371-5465; www.metrolinktrains.com ;
2150 E Katella Ave) commuter trains connect Anaheim to LA's Union Station ($9, 50
minutes), Orange ($5.25, 5 minutes) and San Juan Capistrano ($8.75, 40 minutes).
Getting Around
CAR & MOTORCYCLE
All-day parking costs $16 ($20 for oversize vehicles). Enter the 'Mickey & Friends' park-
ing structure from southbound Disneyland Dr, off Ball Rd, and board the free tram to the
parks.
Downtown Disney parking, reserved for diners, shoppers and movie-goers, offers the
first three hours free.
SHUTTLE
Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART; 714-563-5287; www.rideart.org ; single ride $3, day
pass adult/child $5/2) operates some 20 shuttle routes between Disneyland and area hotels,
transit center, convention center and other points of interest, saving traffic and parking
headaches. Departures are typically two to three times per hour. Purchase single or multi-
day ART passes at kiosks near ART shuttle stops or online in advance.
