Clam Beach CAMPGROUND

South of town off Hwy 101, this beach has excellent camping, but can get very crowded
and it's a favorite with traveling homeless folks. Pitch your tent in the dunes (look for nat-
ural windbreaks). Facilities include pit toilets, cold water, picnic tables and fire rings.

On a hill above the ocean on the inland side, some of the well-maintained, modern and
terrific-value cottages have views and Jacuzzis; most have kitchens. There's also a good
campground.

Sparklingly clean and attractively decorated rooms (many with kitchens) fill this upmar-
ket, gray-shingled motel under tall trees. Most rooms have fully equipped kitchens.

Opposite the lighthouse, this gorgeous light-filled Cape Cod overlooks the harbor and
