In-Depth Information
As Willits' only upscale option, this place draws an interesting mix: Japanese bus tours,
business travelers and wine trippers. The standard rooms are nothing too flashy, but they
have top-notch linens, iPod docks and tasteful art. Custom rooms come with local wine
and more space. The immaculate pool and lovely egg breakfast on the patio are perks.
Eating
Loose Caboose Cafe
SANDWICHES
(10 Woods St; sandwiches $7-11; 7:30am-3pm)
People tend to get a bit flushed when talking about the sandwiches at the Loose Caboose,
which gets jammed at lunch. The Reuben and Sante Fe Chicken sandwiches are two sa-
vory delights.
Aztec Grill
MEXICAN
(781 S Main St; burritos $5-8; 5am-9pm)
Yes this is in the Chevron Gas Station but the unanimous vote from locals is that this is,
hands down, the best Mexican food in town. Cheap too.
Mariposa Market
GROCERIES
(600 S Main St)
Willits' natural food outlet.
Ardella's Kitchen
AMERICAN
(35 E Commercial St; mains $5-11; 6am-noon Tue-Sat)
For quick eats, this tiny place is tops for breakfast - and is
the
place for gossip. Prices are
great, portions are big and fresh and there's an infectious, cheery vibe.
Adam's Restaurant
MEDITERRANEAN
(
707-456-9226; 50 S Main St; mains $22-27)
