Point Arena
This laid-back little town combines creature comforts with relaxed, eclectic California liv-
ing and is the first town up the coast where the majority of residents don't seem to be re-
tired Bay Area refugees. Sit by the docks a mile west of town at Arena Cove and watch
surfers mingle with fishermen and hippies.
