HIGH SEASON VS LOW SEASON
Many Wine Country restaurants and hotels diminish operations in wintertime. Make re-
servations, especially in summertime, or you may not eat. Hotel rates jump during
September and October's grape-crushing season - the most popular time.
Eating
Make reservations whenever possible. July to mid-August, look for the peach stand at
Deer Park Rd and Silverado Trail (across Deer Park Rd from Stewart's farmstand) for
juicy-delicious heirloom varieties.
