At the south end of Ocean Beach, wake up to the sound of surf crashing onto the rocky
shore. This low-key 1965 charmer wraps around a flower-bedecked courtyard with small
heated pool. Its 24 breezy rooms are compact, but most have attractive stone and tile bath-
rooms, and some suites have full kitchens. Even if the ocean air occasionally takes its toll
on exterior surfaces, it's hard not to love. Free parking.
