Across the bay from Downtown San Diego, Coronado is a civilized escape from the

the West Coast's most fashionable getaways. Coronado's visitors center doubles as the

10. Four-and-a-half miles south of Coronado Village is the white-sand Silver Strand State
Beach . Both have warm, calm water, perfect for swimming and good for families.
