Downtown's village is awash with shops in hidden courtyards and eclectic little bunga-
lows. Forest Ave has the highest concentration of chic boutiques from sleek beachwear to

ted his internationally known surf line in his parents' Laguna Beach garage in 1950. South
of downtown, Pacific Coast Hwy teems with fashionable, eclectic and arty shops where
you can shop for goddess clothing, balance your chakras or find vintage rock albums and
posters.
For a DIY art gallery walk , Laguna has three distinct districts: Gallery Row, along the
300 to 500 blocks of N Coast Hwy; in downtown's village, along Forest Ave and Pacific
Coast Hwy; and further south on S Coast Hwy between Oak St and Bluebird Canyon Dr.
