4.6.2 Effect of weight vector on semi-automated ground
motion selection
In order to illustrate the effect of different intensity measures in the selec-
tion of ground motions, this section presents details of ground motions
selected using the previously presented algorithm for two different weight
vectors, w i . In both cases, the NGA database (Chiou et al. , 2008) of as-
recorded ground motions is used to provide the set of prospective ground
motions which can be selected. No 'screening-criteria' of causal earthquake
