reforestation project. Second, policy makers and stakeholders will be better informed
on where in the chain they could contribute best. For example, external fund sources
(e.g. ADB, WB, USAID) may be in a better position to assist in the early phases on
the chain since they have more resources. While local financial institutions (e.g. DBP)
may be more effective in assisting in the marketing and processing activities.
The ReV Chain must be tested in an actual reforestation project and the results
documented. The specific components could be refined depending on the objectives
and resources of a reforestation project.
