Neighborhoods and Places of Interest
Havana is the capital of Cuba and the largest city on the island. It can be hot and
humid; dirty and broken. It is a mix of old and new; ugly and beautiful. It is a perfect
canvas to showcase a fascinating and unpretentious culture, in a vibrant, historic
atmosphere.
The main city is broken up into 3 neighborhoods ( barrios ), each with their own ar-
chitecture and personality: Old Havana, Central Havana and Vedado.
