The Pauson-Khand reaction is a formal [2
1] cycloaddition reaction that involves
an alkyne, an alkene, and carbon monoxide and is mediated by a hexacarbonyldicobalt
complex to yield cyclopentanones in a single step. Since its discovery, many asym-
