around 150 million for Cluster 2 countries. Comparing by years, the in-
crease in international tourist numbers does not show any big difference
in either cluster. Overall, Cluster 2 countries' performance in attracting
international tourists has an absolute advantage over Cluster 1 countries.

Comparison of tourism receipts for Cluster 1 and Cluster 2 countries is
displayed in Fig. 3 below. It can be deduced from the figure that Cluster 2
countries' tourism receipts are relatively higher than Cluster 1 countries.
For example, for the year 2011, while tourism receipts of Cluster 2 coun-
tries is $130 billion, it is $49 billion for Cluster 1 countries. As seen in Fig.
2, while the number of tourists for Cluster 2 countries was double that of
Cluster 1 countries in 2011, for the same year tourism receipts of Cluster 2
countries was almost triple. It shows that Cluster 2 countries' revenue per
tourist and the value of tourism products are much higher.
