tries have higher scores in 5 out of 7 variables for air transport infrastruc-
ture pillar. These variables include quality of air transport infrastructure
(Mean 1 = 4.17; Mean 2 = 4.92; t = −2.173; p = 0.041) , available interna-
tional seat kilometers (Mean 1 = 313.32; Mean 2 = 1023.95; t = −2.283; p
= 0.033) , departures per 1.000 population (Mean 1 = 1.53; Mean 2 = 5.38;
t = −4.555; p = 0.000) , number of operating airlines (Mean 1 = 35.60;
Mean 2 = 77.16; t = −3.022; p = 0.006) and international air transport
network (Mean 1 = 4.25; Mean 2 = 4.95; t = −2.389; p = 0.026).
