SUMMARY
It is imperative that we realize the importance of our unity. Together we all
succeed. Make the decision to commit to the success of other women today.
Often we are so focused on the equation, technology, innovation, academic pro-
posal, or generating publications. While those are the universal metrics - the
number of innovations created, the research funding, the material reward - it
is equally important for us to understand the more abstract fruits of our daily
labors. This is where our vision includes not just our personal vision but the
collective success of our peers. We really need to commit to the success of other
women. Find one woman in your world that you can support this year and really
make a difference in her career. If you're in a position to recognize a woman or
to promote her, make an effort to create opportunities and do that which is in
your power to see another woman succeed.
