If you are running a different version of Oracle Application Express, then you will
need to change the reference to the appropriate Oracle Application Express schema.
This script should normally be run as
SYSTEM
.
If you are encountering the error,
ORA-29273: HTTP request
failed ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_HTTP", line 1577
ORA-24247: network access denied by access
control list (ACL)
, when running a custom application,
then the script must be run for the
Database
account associated
with the workspace containing the application. In other words, it
needs to be run for the application's parsing schema.
There have been two changes in this feature in Database 11gR2, which may have an
impact on Oracle Application Express users:
• In
Database 11gR2 11.2.0.1
, the precedence order in the evaluation of the
network ACL entries has been changed to most speciic to least speciic.
More information on this topic is discussed in the sections to follow.
• In
Database 11gR2 11.2.0.2
, the network ACL now applies to any use
of
DBMS_LDAP
.
