International Shipping Of Goods
Shipping stuff to Cambodia is not cheap - and sometimes doesn't arrive.
Whenwelefthome,weshippedaboxtoourselves(tobedeliveredtoourguesthouse)which
was costly and didn't arrive for more than four weeks. After waiting and watching for it,
we were told to go to the central post office (near Wat Phnom) to check the topic that lists
packages arriving in Phnom Penh which hadn't been delivered. It turned out the box had ar-
rived two days after we did, and because it hadn't been delivered and had been “stored” at
the post office, we had to pay another fee to get it out again.
When you go to the post office to find your package, you'll have to sift through a book list-
ing every box or mailer shipped to Cambodia to find your name, then point it out to the
postal employee who will head into the storage area to exhume your stuff.
We've often heard from friends who have sent books and other packages that never arrived,

ships you a packet through the mail, make sure to get the tracking code so you can track it
