You'llgetawificonnectionalmosteverywhereyougoinCambodia,whetheryou'restaying
in a $5/night guesthouse, sipping a latte in a Siem Reap coffee shop, or sitting in the air-
port waiting for your flight to Bangkok. It won't always be a good connection (and some-
times may be down for hours or days at a time), but most places advertise the fact that they
have wifi. Many guesthouses or hotels and some of the coffee shops, such as Brown's and
Spinelli's in Phnom Penh, even provide free computers which you use while you're on the
road.
We'veheardanumberofstoriesfromfriendswho'vefoundtheirhomeinternetaccesstobe
spotty or non-existent, but we've usually had good luck with ours - and have only lost the
connection a handful of times (once when I forgot to pay the bill). There are many different
internet providers, including Digi, Ezecom, Online Wifi Max, Metfone, Beeline, and Hello,
allofwhichofferdifferentpackages.Homeinternet servicestartsaround$12/monthandin-
creases according to your package. We pay $24/month and it provides us with decent speed
and rare outages. Sometimes there are a few problems with Skype and downloading videos
(which take considerable time to stream), but otherwise we're happy campers.
