Bringing Your Pet
If you're bringing Fido or Fluffy along with you, you need to make sure their vaccinations
areuptodate andgetahealth certificate fromyourvetwithin 15daysofleaving yourhome
country.Youmayormaynotbeaskedforitatcustoms.Ifnot,don'tworryaboutit.Nobody
else does.
A number of expats bring their pets to live in Cambodia and, while they stand out among
dozens of filthy shaggy mutts who roam the streets, they seem to fare just fine. It's best to
keep Fido on a leash and Fluffy inside as neighbourhood pets aren't usually cared for in the
same way as western ones. The best vet in town is Agrovet, and all supermarkets stock food
supplies that will keep them happy.
