The Circle command
This command creates a circle using two methods:
Circle by Center and Diameter
and
Circle by 3 Points
.
The Circle by Center and Diameter method
This is the most common way to draw a circle. Activate the
Circle
command (click
Home
> Direct Sketch > Circle
on the ribbon) and click
Circle by Center and Diameter
on the
Circle
dialog. Click to define the center point of the circle. Drag the pointer, and then click
again to define the diameter of the circle.
The Circle by 3 Points method
This method creates a circle by using three points. Activate the
Circle
command and click
Circle by 3 Points
on the
Circle
dialog. Select three points from the graphics window. You
can also select existing points from the sketch geometry. The first two points define the
location of the circle and the third point defines its diameter.
