icon on your computer screen (or) click
Start > All Pro-
grams > Siemens NX 9.0 > NX 9.0
. On the
Welcome
screen, click
Home > New
to open
the

dialog. On this dialog, click the
Model
template, and then click
OK
. The files cre-
ated in NX have an extension
.prt
.
