Experimental data show that efficiency of light stabilization at photoageing depends on
the degree of conjugation of hexaazocyclane being introduced into PETP.
On the basis of experimental data one may suppose that effect of light stabilization is
probably connected with the rising of electronic excitation transfer from polymer to the
additive. Besides, it may be expected that the more coplanar is the molecule, the more
fluctuating degrees of release it has and the more is the observed effect of excitation
suppression [306].
Important property of hexaazocylances is their ability to dyeing PETP into yellow, red,
brown colours as in this case there is no need in additional introduction of the dye.
One of the features of consumer properties of chemical fibres and goods on their basis is
light stability of polymer itself and its colour and also colour resistance to the action of wet
treatment.
As a result of obtained PETP - fibres testing it has been found that colour resistance to
light is 4-5 marks and to wet treatment it is 5/5/5, where the first index is colour change, the
