The disparity you're looking for is the Actual Number of Rows value (near the top) compared to the Estimated
Number of Rows value (at the bottom). In the properties shown in Figure 19-10 , there are 1,203.6 estimated rows,
while the actual number is considerably higher at 4,012. If you compare this to the same operator in the second query
(the one without the local variable), you may notice something else. Take a look at Figure 19-11 .
