tures is a new addition to the face of New York City, but that doesn't at all detract from the
impact it has on this international destination.
The centerpiece of the complex is the GE Building (known as the RCA Building until
1988) which stands at 850ft (259m) tall, making it the 10th tallest building in New York
city. The "Top of the Rock" viewing platform offers excellent panoramic views of all of
Manhattan, and a unique view of both the Empire State Building and Central Park.
Other points of interest in the complex include Radio City Music Hall and of course the
series of underground pedestrian-only passages that are filled with restaurants and high end
stores.
