2. Brooklyn
The Brooklyn borough is home to over 2.5 million people. With 35% Caucasian, 35% Black,
20% Hispanic, and 10% combined and other races, Brooklyn is home to a diverse popula-
tion. First settled by the Dutch, it has promoted equality in all people since the 1620s.
The Brooklyn Museum of art houses one of the best collections of Egyptian art collections
in the world. Visitors can also experience Prospect Park which boasts 585 acres of meadows,
picnic areas, outdoor concert venues, a boathouse, and lake. Brooklyn Heights Promenade
spots incredible views of the Manhattan Skyline, Brooklyn Bridge, and the Statue of Liberty.
