Before starting to make a setup with iCloud and the CloudKit framework, we should know
about some features of Xcode capabilities, iTunes Connect, and provisioning profiles. Also,
we must have an understanding of core data, storing, and retrieving data in iOS for a
smooth use and integration of the CloudKit framework. These are the prerequisites for
starting to use the new technology iCloud and its framework.
To integrate iCloud in any app, the following steps are a must before starting with the setup
to be done in Xcode:
• A Mac computer with Xcode 6 or later installed
• Membership in either iOS or Mac Developer Program
• Permission to create the code signing identities and provisioning profiles in Mem-
ber Center
• Lastly, after all this, our Xcode project should be built without errors
