French public universities may hire foreigners as visiting
professors or lecturers, but only French citizens may teach
in French public schools; exceptions are made for teaching

STUDENT WORK PERMITS
Students from the EU do not need work permits. In certain
cases, registered students from outside the EU may obtain

and be allowed to work part-time during the school year
