Ramón, the Puerto Rican drug dealer, was at the party too. Ramón and Huncke
loved each other. Ramón had all of this gold on. He was wearing a nice suit, and
he had a camera with him because he was on his way to a Puerto Rican baptism
somewhere. He was having Ginsberg and all these major American literary fig-
ures pose for pictures.
“Get down in front!” Ramón was ordering them. “Get down in front!”
