reason, Viva just had it in her mind that she hated Stanley so badly and he was
trying to take advantage of her.
Once Stanley called me and said, “The management wants to talk to you in
the office about your rent.” So I went downstairs. But Viva was first in line. She
was getting her ass chewed by Stanley, but she was chewing out Stanley back
just as fast as he could give it to her.
So I had to wait in line to get my ass chewed by Stanley. But once she had
left, and before he started on me, he said, “That's a bitch on wheels! She's just a
bitch on wheels!” He was very proud of that excellent little quip.

When Stanley got on her case, Viva would bring up all of the disreputable char-
acters he was allowing to stay there, the pimps and hookers and drug dealers.

Stanley loved to fight! You would think, “This man is going to have a heart at-
tack!” He would be apoplectic, just over-the-top screaming at somebody in the
lobby at a quarter past ten in the morning! If that didn't happen once a day, it
wasn't a good day for Stanley.
