Audley End's Saloon retains it original extravagant plasterwork ceiling featuring dolphins
and sea-monsters. The plasterwork is also notable in the Gothic style family chapel.
Robert Adam's designs are showcased in the ornate Little Drawing Room. Audley End's
Great Hall remains from the 17 th century portion of the house. The 4 th Lord Braybrooke
was a natural history collector and his collection is on display in the house.
Ornamental Victorian gardens contain a magnificent parterre and there is an organic kit-
chen garden. Visit the restored stables with resident horses (Duke and Jack) and a Victori-
an groom.
Look along the main drive to Audley End for the memorial to 108 members of the Polish
special forces members who died during World War II.
