Getting There & Away
There are flights to Bodø (via Mo i Rana) and Trondheim.
BusesrunfromMosjøentoBrønnøysund(threehours,onceortwicedailyexceptSaturday)
and Sandnessjøen (1¾ hours, three to five daily) There's also at least one service daily to/
from Mo i Rana (1¾ hours) but the train takes less time.
Mosjøen lies on the rail line between Trondheim (Nkr700, 5½ hours, three daily), Fauske
(Nkr486, 3½ hours, three daily) and Bodø (Nkr581; 4¼ hours, three daily).
A DETOUR VIA HATTEN
For drivers, a lovely detour follows the wild, scenic Villmarksveien route, which runs
parallel to the E6 east of Mosjøen and approaches the bizarre 1128m peak of Hatten
