The nearest campsite
to Måløy has spectacular views over the busy sea lane and a particularly cosy common
room with sofas and armchairs. To get there, cross the bridge to the east bank, turn right
after 2km beside a school and follow the track downhill for 1.2km. No credit cards.

In their recently opened restaurant, Rita and Arne Andal offer the
freshest of fish. Lunch dishes are simple and inexpensive while the dinner menu features
cod, halibut and monkfish, prepared a variety of ways. For dessert, there's an irresistible
crème brûlée with mango and strawberry coulis. Forsomething simpler,try the tapas -and
wangle a table on the bathtowel-sized terrace overlooking the harbour.
