Air
Stavanger airport ( 51 65 80 00) is at Sola, 14km south of the city centre. Apart from
international airlines ( Click here ), there are the following domestic services:
Norwegian ( www.norwegian.com ) Flights to Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim.
SAS ( www.sas.no ) Oslo and Bergen.
Widerøe ( www.wideroe.no ) Bergen, Kristiansand and Sandefjord.
Boat
For international ferries, Click here , while boat tours of Lysefjord from Stavanger are
covered on Click here . Otherwise, services include the following:
Flaggruten ( 55 32 12 24; www.flaggruten.no ; Fiskepirterminalen) Twice-daily
services from Sunday to Friday to Haugesund (one-way/return Nkr310/470) and Bergen
(Nkr750/950), with just one on Saturday.
M/S Lysebotn ( 91 65 28 00; www.kolumbus.no ) Car-and-passenger ferries from
Stavanger to Lysebotn (adult/child/car Nkr173/87/356).
Tide Reiser ( www.tidereiser.no ; Jun-Aug) Daily summer four-hour car ferries with
tourist commentary along Lysefjord to Lysebotn (adult/child/car Nkr210/120/400) from
Fiskepirterminalen. There's also the fast ferry M/S Lysefjord that leaves Stavanger at
1.30pm (and Lysebotn at 7.20am) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Note that most services to Oslo change at Kristiansand.
